BEL OMBRE. LAMER. LATER. LAVI.

A region dedicated to Sustainable Tropical Art de Vivre

A destination
within the destination

Nestled on the stunning southern coast of Mauritius, Bel Ombre is celebrated for its beauty and rich history.

Through planned and harmonious development, Rogers and its subsidiaries Agrïa, Rogers Hospitality and Heritage Villas Valriche have for decades developed the area with the same passion and commitment to preserving and enhancing the beauty of this unique region. Agrïa, formerly CSBO, has a connection of over 100 years to this region, owning 3,040 hectares of land.

Hotels, restaurants, golf courses and bespoke villas have since been carefully integrated by the Rogers Group entities into the landscape, coexisting with the omnipresent nature, sublimating the heritage of the former sugar estate and making Rogers the main employer within the region.

Bel Ombre, a territorial brand

With the territorial brand “Bel Ombre. Lamer. Later. Lavi.”, the Rogers Group unveils a new chapter in the history of Bel Ombre. This territorial brand relates to the commitment of the Rogers Group and its enterprises to bring the development of Bel Ombre to the forefront of sustainable and inclusive development, paving the way for a more sustainable future for Mauritius. Our vision for Bel Ombre is for it to be the reference in Sustainable Tropical Art de Vivre.

“Bel Ombre. Lamer. Later. Lavi” territorial brand unites all the assets of this region: its lagoon and complex ecosystems, its abundant nature and rich biodiversity to be promoted and protected, its diverse population, as well as its rich cultural and historical heritage.

A Word from Rogers Group’s CEO

Creating a territorial brand responds to the need for a clear and integrated roadmap that will give wings to our Vision, rally all our stakeholders, and enlist them in a shared objective to shape Bel Ombre for a better future. A Sustainable Future.
