
On the 7th of July, 2023, the Rogers Group marked a pivotal milestone with the successful launch of its three-year strategic plan. This landmark event brought together 250 of the group’s senior managers from Mauritius and abroad to engage in detailed discussions on the group’s strategic roadmap for the upcoming three years.
Guided by the group's brand promise "Meaningful Change", this full-day session served as a platform for the leadership teams to further explore the overarching group strategy and deep dive into key topics such as the landscape of talent and sustainability ambitions.
The event also served as a special occasion, as the group welcomed Gilbert Espitalier-Noël, the newly appointed CEO of the ENL Group.
It was also the occasion to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Rogers over the past three years as it ends the strategic plan for that period and simultaneously embarks on a new journey, with 2026 in sight.
More importantly, the event offered a remarkable opportunity for the 250 leaders in attendance to engage in meaningful conversations about how they can support each other throughout this ambitious journey.
In his welcome address, Philippe Espitalier-Noël, Chief Executive Officer of the Rogers Group, underscored his appreciation of a unified vision for the future:

I am truly humbled by the remarkable outcomes we achieved across all five segments of Rogers during these past three years. Once again, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you. I can’t stress enough how important your insights, ideas, and initiatives are critical to our progress. This day is filled with energy, excitement, and a shared vision for the future.
Driving Meaningful Change through four strategic pillars
The event’s proceedings included a comprehensive presentation of Rogers' strategy for the next three years. It outlined the core objectives the group aims to meet, the potential obstacles anticipated, and the innovative solutions designed to overcome these challenges, all rooted in the group’s four strategic pillars set to shape the coming years:
- Excellence: a heightened focus on performance through operational, service, and digital excellence.
- Talent and culture: attracting and retaining talents while focusing on culture and sense of belonging.
- Sustainability and inclusive development: ensuring we make sustainability sustainable through the resilience of our operations.
- Internationalisation: expanding and consolidating our operations, particularly in East Africa, to capitalise on the region's promising market.
These four pillars, reflecting Rogers’s intention of creating Meaningful change, will guide the execution of more than 100 critical projects across its segments in the next three years. With the strategic roadmap unveiled, the Rogers Group is ready to embark on a new journey.
