In October 2023, the Rogers Group embarked on an exciting journey with the launch of the Ascend Graduate Programme. This unique initiative was brought forth to offer emerging talents with valuable career development opportunities. Participants get to experience at least three different job rotations within our five diverse segments during their one-year with us. Twelve fresh graduates hailing from different academic backgrounds have commenced their exciting professional exposure with the Group, eager to excel, grow, and thrive!
The candidates are currently placed in various departments within companies belonging to the group’s five segments. These encompass: Communication & Marketing, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Risk & Audit, as well as Sustainability & Inclusive Development. The Ascenders experienced a seamless start to their journey with a one-week induction at the outset of the graduate programme. This period was dedicated to acquainting them with the Group and its various companies, alongside team building and wellness activities designed to strengthen bonds. Get ready for a shift in February 2024 – that's when the next exciting job rotation happens!
Upon completing this one-year programme, this inaugural batch will have honed key skills in communication, presentation, self-leadership, and team management through the guidance of skilled mentors. Furthermore, a clear career progression path within the Group is established for them, beginning with roles focusing on self-management and progressively evolving to leadership roles that involve broader team and operational oversight.
