Sales Coordinator - Events (for Heritage Resorts)

Overview:

The role involves implementing the commercial and sales strategy for their segment and driving revenue in the groups, incentives, and events sectors at Heritage Resorts. They will support senior management in reaching key revenue goals and coordinate partnerships to enhance exposure for all Heritage Resorts units and Kaz'Alala, with a focus on C Beach Club / Chateau de Bel Ombre.

Your role:

  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate data to improve sales productivity and performance.
  • Proactively engage with colleagues across the business to identify needs and opportunities for external events.
  • Stay updated on market trends and maintain strong relationships with key partners and top players.
  • Manage a comprehensive, cost-effective program of external events, including MICE, groups, and corporate decision-makers' visits.
  • Coordinate and oversee onsite activities such as team building, lunches, weddings, and themed events in collaboration with the operational team.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including recording meeting details (timing, budgets, menus, special requests) and maintaining event documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure total client satisfaction and smooth event execution from start to finish.
  • Manage electronic correspondence, coordinate with the operations team, and ensure accurate event execution based on the client's requirements.
  • Prepare invoices and monitor payments closely in collaboration with the accounts team and clients.
  • Assist with the implementation of sales and rate strategies as defined by senior management, ensuring alignment with group policies.
  • Organize and follow up on site inspections, MICE/Groups Fam Trips, and other related activities at Heritage Resorts.
  • Work closely with Rogers Hospitality business units to foster a positive work environment and ensure smooth coordination for all events.

Your profile:

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or any other acceptable qualifications would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in sales & marketing in the tourism sector would be a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  •  Fluent in French and English, both written & spoken
  • Strong organization skills and attention to details
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and negotiation abilities
